A NEW MAN BY HUGHES WILLIAM THOMPSON
An award-winning exploration of loneliness.

I’ve always loved spending time at cafes. Besides the draw of a good espresso or latte -- and the opportunity to break the monotony of working at home -- I enjoy observing the people around me, especially the habits and quirks of the regular customers who frequent my favorite local coffee shops or breakfast spots. I have yet, however, to actually assume any of their identities, which is the case with the main character of A New Man, an award-winning short film directed by Hughes William Thompson.
